Fillers - Hyaluronic acid

Medico-aesthetic of the face
Fillers - Hyaluronic acid
Filling injections is a very interesting treatment option for correcting, giving volume and reshaping the face. Hyaluronic acid (Juvederm®, Restylane ®,Belotero®) is currently the most widely used temporary implant in medico-aesthetics. Hyaluronic acid is a complex sugar that looks like a gel. It is a natural component of connective tissue, found especially in the skin and joints. Its function is to allow exchanges, to lubricate, to retain water. The level of hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases with age, and its replacement is an effective measure of rejuvenation.
Its potential to give volume allows to reshape certain regions of the face to correct and reshape it …
- Increasing them (cheekbones, lips)
- Mitigate the deep furrows (naso-genius silons, puppets)
- By mitigating more superficial wrinkles
Several products are used in each range (Juvederm®, Belotero®, Stylage®) depending on the region to be treated. Indeed, we do not put the same product for fine lines as to restore volume to the cheekbones.
Frequently asked questions
How long will the treatment last?
Depending on the areas to be treated, the session takes 15 to 45 minutes and the result is immediately visible but will be at its best after 2 weeks.
What about pain?
Naturally this technique is performed with injections… so there is a bit of pain but as the product itself contains an anesthetic agent, this pain is well tolerated. For highly sensitive areas such as the lips, an anesthetic ointment will be applied about 20-30 minutes before the treatment session.

Side effects include temporary reactions at the injection site:
You may have redness, bruising, swelling, pain, tingling or numbness, sometimes nodules or bumps, rarely discoloration. These effects are temporary and gradually fade.
Other extremely rare side effects can occur such as drug allergy, infection, accidental intra-arterial injection.
What are the costs of treatment?
Costs vary depending on the product and the number of syringes used. Naturally, we go according to your needs and your budget. The treatment plan varies with each person’s condition and priorities.
